National Geographic wanted to supply a promotional yet useful item for their television shows to hand out to visitors of the National Geographic Museum, as well as people who came to the National Geographic Headquarters for special events. The goal was to create a giveaway that guests would consider a keepsake, not just another brochure or marketing material.
