Wright Square Café

Wright Square Café sits in the heart of Savannah’s walkable downtown Historic District, which means plenty of foot traffic thanks to its position near one of Savannah’s original four squares. Visitors come to Wright Square to visit the grave of Tomochichi, one of General Oglethorpe’s trusted allies who was slighted when a monument to William Gordon, a Georgia politician, was erected where Tomochichi’s grave had stood for over 100 years. However, this area is also home to many lawyers, federal employees, and business folk who enjoy the wraps, baked goods, and relaxed atmosphere of Wright Square Café.

This counter-service eatery allows busy locals to grab and go and serves as an excellent place to relax, thanks to outdoor bistro tables and a cozy seating area. Beyond wraps, salads, Panini-grilled sandwiches, and the all-important coffee, Wright Square also provides fine chocolates for that afternoon pick-me-up.
